Square 2.1 lasts for about 45 minutes.

After the performance you can visit a digital exhibition of the work of Don Satijn as seen in the show. You can decide how long you want to stay in our digital art gallery.

For an optimal experience we suggest that you take the tour individually and use headphones for the sound. If you live with others who want to experience Square 2.1 then you can follow the route one after the other. Your ticket stays valid for 72 hours.

Children can enjoy the performance accompanied by an adult.

Yes, you can choose to start the experience at any time after buying a ticket, as long as you finish watching the performance within 72 hours.

After 72 hours your ticket will automatically expire and you will no longer have access to the performance.

A ticket is valid for one household and stays active for 72 hours from the moment of purchase. Within that time you can see the performance a maximum of eight times. If you want to see the performance again after that, or if you want to gift it to someone else, you will need a new ticket.

From the moment of purchase, your ticket gives you access for 72 hours.

Once you have bought Square 2.1, you log in on your portable device. You are meant to walk through your home during the performance, which will be easiest with a tablet, laptop or smartphone. Wear headphones for an optimal experience.

Square 2.1 was filmed in May 2020. Throughout the preparation and filming, we stuck to the safety measures and advice of the Dutch government and national health institute. To keep the team as small as possible, only one cameraman was present to operate several cameras and record the sound. A number of scenes in the piece have also been adapted to allow for social distancing. Maartje Bonarius and Harm van der Laan are housemates, so were allowed to be closer together. All meetings with the team and partners were conducted through Skype or Zoom.
